Pelican GeoGraphics Ltd was founded by experienced exploration geologist Dr Caroline Hilton in 2000, to provide geological and environmental GIS services to users of geospatial information. Since that time, GIS and geospatial data has gone from being an extremely specialised area to become the "hidden" tool behind most of the world's business and social activity.
